About George Washington Memorial Park

George Washington Memorial Park

Established in 1938, historic George Washington Memorial Park features gently rolling hills, landscaped gardens, and a lake, all surrounded by wooded area. The Heritage Chapel Mausoleum contains original paintings by Philadelphia artist and illustrator Ralph Pallen Coleman. Several of our garden features made of marble, granite or bronze are also translated from his paintings. Finally, two unknown soldiers from the Revolutionary War are buried here.

In addition to our lush gardens, George Washington Memorial Park offers several burial options, including private mausoleum, lawn crypt, traditional burial, cremation burial, cremation niche, cremation bench, and community mausoleum.
